These are collections of quotes concerning

• games and playing
• game design
• games, aesthetics and ethics
• games with an agenda: propaganda, teaching, persuasion, commerce
• learning, knowledge and cognition.
• medium and media.

Unfortunately there had been a recent verdict which restricts the use of quotes from copyrighted material to a very narrow set of uses. A collection of quotes giving an overview on a specific topic – as useful for scientific work as it may be – is unfortunately not legally covered.

I do not think that this is a reasonable approach to quotation practice or for the support of networked scientific work, in contrary. But I have to avert repercussions by password protecting the quote collections.
